No Joke, huge amounts of players strive to be the next "mega star" in poker, but here is a short list of four of the more well known "charming players" of the game. Although "nice" is connected with their names when you are playing them it’s "no more Mr. Nice guy" until they have put you out of the competition!

Daniel Negreanu

In 2004, his tournament payouts added up to in the region of 4.4 million dollars and he attained 2 highly admired awards in the World Series of Poker Player of the Year and Cardplayer Magazine’s Competition Player of the Year. In Feb Two Thousand and Six he was appointed Card Player’s Preferred Poker Player. He even still has the decency to speak with his fans about how they could improve their own game.

Howard Lederer

Referred to as "The Professor" and sibling of fellow poker pro Annie Duke. His success has allowed him to make an instructional video named "Secrets of No Limit Hold’em" and also hosting a tournament poker show for Fox TV. As of 2005, his complete life earnings surpass 2.7 million dollars.

Scotty Nguyen

Scott is one of the busiest players in professional poker and from 2000 and Two Thousand and Four he placed in the money in more than 100 events. He is noted for saying "yeah baby" throughout poker games and also coined the phrase "that’s poker baby" when alluding to a exceptionally bad loss. As of Two Thousand and Six, his life time earnings are almost $6 million.

Chris Ferguson

Chris has won 5 World Series of Poker titles with 2 of his wins coming in Two Thousand and Three. Chris has the alias "Jesus" because of his trademark long hair and beard, along with his ability to throw playing cards fast enough to slice through pickles and bananas.
