Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Built on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the western in a wonderful game for new players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player against the house, not like most other poker games that gamblers play against other players. By competing against the dealer, starting players do not have to be concerned about other, more experienced people taking their moolla.
Another Pai Gow benefit is the fairly slow game play, novices will be able to take their time and scheme while not needing to make frenzied decisions.
It is also easier to bet on for a long time with just a tiny amount of cash after all, to not win, both of your hands needs to be under both of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The player is dealt seven cards faces showing and the dealer is dealt 7 cards faces hidden.
A 5 card hand and a two card hand must be made from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand has to be higher than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be larger than the houses.
