Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the western in an excellent game for early level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler versus the casino, not like almost all other poker games that players wager against other players. By betting against the dealer, starting players don’t need to be concerned about other, more experienced individuals winning their mulla.

A further Pai Gow benefit is the generally leisurely game pace, newcomers should be able to take their time and plan without having to make hasty decisions.

It’s also easier to wager on for a very long time with basically a tiny bit of money since, to not win, both of your hands has to be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards face up and the casino receives 7 cards faces hidden.

A five card hand and one 2 card hand have to be put together from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be higher than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be better than the dealer’s.
