Literally millions and millions of players strive to be the next "big thing" in poker, but here is a short list of four of the more well known "charming players" of poker. Although "nice" is connected with their names when you are playing them it is "no more Mr. Nice guy" until they have removed you out of the competition!

Daniel Negreanu

In Two Thousand and Four, his tournament winnings amounted to more than 4.4 million dollars and he came away with two highly admired awards in the WSOP Player of the Year and Cardplayer Magazine’s Tournament Player of the Year. In Feb 2006 he was chosen Card Player’s Preferred Poker Player. Daniel still has the humility to speak with his fans about how they can improve their own game.

Howard Lederer

Known as "The Professor" and brother of fellow poker pro Annie Duke. His achievements have allowed him to make an educational poker video named "Secrets of No Limit Hold’em" and also hosting a tournament poker show for Fox TV. As of Two Thousand and Five, his complete life time winnings exceed 2.7 million dollars.

Scotty Nguyen

Scott is one of the most active players in professional poker and from Two Thousand to 2004 he placed in the money in well over one hundred tournaments. He’s notorious for saying "yeah baby" throughout poker matches and also credited with the phrase "that’s poker baby" when alluding to a especially bad defeat. As of Two Thousand and Six, his career earnings are almost $6 million.

Chris Ferguson

Chris has won 5 World Series of Poker titles with two of his successes happening in 2003. Has the nickname "Jesus" because of his trademark long hair and beard, and is able to toss playing cards fast enough to slice through pickles and bananas. As of Two Thousand and Five his total poker tourney earnings exceeded $5 million.
