Ah, the steam. If a poker player claims at no time to have looked over the shadow of an approaching poker steam – they are either lying or they haven’t been wagering very long. This doesn’t mean obviously that each and every one has gone on steam in the past, a handful of people have great willpower and take their squanderings as a loss and leave it at that. Bad beats are bound to develop. Face that idea right now, I’ll say it again – if your sister enjoys cards, if your mother plays cards, if your grandparents play cards – They have all had bad beats sometime. It is an inevitable experience of competing in Holdem, or for that matter any type of poker.

After all we are assumingly (almost all of us) playing poker for one reason – to acquire money, it certainly makes sense that we would bet accordingly to maximize our profit potential. Now let us say you are up one hundred dollars off of a $100 deposit, and you take a huge hit in a NL game and your stack is at $120. You have squandered $80 in a round where you were sure to pick up $200two hundred dollars when you went all-in on the flop and had a ten to one edge. And that fish! He banged you out on the river? – Well hold it right there. This is a quintessential opportunity for a fresh player to begin tilting. They really just lost too much cash on one round that they should have won and they’re angry
