Beyond a doubt countless of players strive to be the next "mega star" in poker, but here is a short rundown on four of the more well known "charming pros" of poker. Even though "nice" is connected with their names when you are at a poker table it’s "no more Mr. Nice guy" until they have removed you out of the game!

Daniel Negreanu

In 2004, his tournament payouts added up to in excess of $4.4 million and he attained 2 highly respected awards in the World Series of Poker Player of the Year and Cardplayer Magazine’s Competition Player of the Year. In February 2006 he was named Card Player’s Preferred Poker Player. He even still has the humility to speak to his admirers about how they could advance their own game.

Howard Lederer

Referred to as "The Professor" and brother of fellow poker pro Annie Duke. His accomplishments have allowed him to make an educational poker video called "Secrets of No Limit Hold’em" and also holding a tournament poker show for Fox. As of 2005, his complete life winnings exceed $2.7 million.

Scotty Nguyen

Scott is 1 of the most active players in professional poker and between Two Thousand and 2004 he placed in the money in well over 100 tournaments. He’s notorious for saying "yeah baby" throughout poker games and also credited with the phrase "that’s poker baby" when referring to a particularly bad defeat. As of Two Thousand and Six, his life time earnings are almost six million dollars.

Chris Ferguson

Chris has captured 5 World Series of Poker titles with two of his successes coming in 2003. Has the nickname "Jesus" as a result of his characteristic long hair and beard, and is able to toss cards quick enough to cut through pickles and bananas. As of Two Thousand and Five his total poker tournament earnings exceeded $5 million.
