Online poker has become globally acclaimed lately, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, arcs back in fact a bit farther than its TV scores. Over the years several variants on the earliest poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling blackjack than long-standing poker, in that the players bet against the dealer instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no conniving or different kinds of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up before the dealer announcing "No further wagers." At that point, both you and the house and of course all of the other players receive five cards. Once you have observed your hand and the bank’s first card, you must either make a call wager or accede. The call wager’s amount is on same level to your beginning bet, which means that the stakes will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your bet goes immediately to the bank. After the wager is the face off. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, with an amount in accordance with the original wager. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The house pony’s up cash equal to your ante and fixed odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
