This is,absolutely, one of the most critical concepts in Texas Holdem. Playing a top 10 tactic is the absolute first tactic that players should learn considering that it shows the player good habits that will advance to later gains.
People are always asking me what a great, solid technique is for a beginner playing texas holdem. My response is always the same, employ a top ten strategy.
Top 10 tactic, applies to the top 10 pockets hands that you are able to have. These hands are a pair of aces, king-king, QQ, AK same suit, JJ, ten-ten, nine-nine, 88, ace-queen same suit, and seven-seven. The tactic suggests that you only compete with these hands. This will proceed to extremely reserved play, but for a newbie to texas hold’em, conservatively is exactly how you will want to compete.
It feels like to me that I am always observing amateurs participating very boldly, they are the first ones to go all in, and that’s typically the incorrect course of action. If these novice players would stay with a top ten poker strategy, they would come out much more in the long run. More importantly, this conservative top 10 poker tactic will educate the burgeoning player understanding, which is the most critical ability that a texas holdem competitor can possess.
